Seed mixtures to attract wildlife
Wild birds, butterflies and beneficial insects can be attracted to your garden by wildlife friendly gardening, which includes the establishment of plants on which wild animals feed or shelter. On a larger scale, agri-environment schemes encourage the use of pollen and nectar plants in field margins and ‘beetle banks’ to make better use of natural predators of insect pests.
The mixtures below (some of which contain non British native species), are designed to attract desirable wild insects and birds to a field or garden by providing a supply of food and the habitat to sustain them.
