DISEASE SUSCEPTIBLE VARIETIES

Agrochemical screening for fungal disease control often requires fungus disease susceptible crop varieties. Unfortunately, many of these susceptible varieties are no longer grown commercially because they are so susceptible. Herbiseed can supply seed of fungal disease susceptible varieties such as Orange Pixie tomato (highly susceptible to potato blight), ‘Golden Promise’ barley, (susceptible to barley mildew), and Hereward wheat, (susceptible to Septoria).
